Nothing has changed and everything has changed. Over three years ago, ON_Discourse was launched to provoke a private group of business executives into more honest conversations about a rapidly changing marketplace.
That mission still stands. Our members are still experiencing private provocative sessions that focus on their questions and ideas rather than self-congratulatory promotional demos. In this way, I am not wrong when I say nothing has changed.
But… our original mission was always inherently limited. Our brand of discourse is best suited for small private group sessions. In the past three years, our system has generated quantifiable value for our members: deeper networks that drove new business deals, new businesses conceived and launched, and new ideas that were road-tested and refined, all by our discourse.
Our methods have been successful so far because they are deliberately bespoke. We like the way ON_Discourse is evolving and don’t want to scale our network, we just want to scale the experience.
And this is where everything has changed.
Provocation of the Week
Discourse is now a product.
Our new venture, (domain), is now open to the public. You can go to the site right now, meet Doma, and start a group chat. The entire experience is born directly out of three years and hundreds of sessions worth of lessons.
Doma is a collaborator, agitator, and provocateur. It acts like Toby Daniels or I would act in an ON_Discourse session. It asks questions, listens intently, and is unafraid to push back. It does not behave like conventional LLMs. It is designed to provide constructive friction to your group chats.
You do not need to download anything to access Doma. At its most simple, it is a phone number you can message on text (or Signal, Telegram, Slack, or email). Once you get its phone number, you are free to add it to any group chat on any of those platforms, and set it to work with your group.
ON_Discourse has spent three years proving that real conversation changes how people think and how businesses grow. Doma is what happens when that lesson gets a phone number.
